Have you ever said to yourself;
"It hurts so much how can anyone even think I could forgive them? Well you are not in a class of your own. Unforgiveness is designed to keep us stirred up, angry, bitter and tormented! The enemy uses it for his gain... It is designed to take your peace while the other person continues on with their life like nothing ever happened. Unforgiveness has been known to cause many ailments in the mind, body, soul and spirit.
"Forgetting, is the fruit of the seed of Forgiving."
Remembering and forgetting are two entirely different things. Remembering comes from emotions, forgetting is a fact.

Forgiveness shuts the devils mouth, it shuts him down, stops him in his tracks instantly! He hates for you to "Know" this Truth because then he won't be able to continue to torment your mind and rule your emotions by keeping you stirred up and under his control.
But, "Real Love Forgives", and stops all that immediately!
. Just one small drop of the blood of Jesus! .
I don't believe that we can experience life on earth as God intended, if we hold any un-forgiveness in our hearts. We can live life telling ourselves; "It is well with my soul", but if we hold un-forgiveness, we are walking in disobedience and only harming ourselves.
Walking with inner peace is the way that we, the true Sons of God are to live our lives. He loves us and gave His only Son to death on the Cross, and He took all of our sins and nailed them to that same cross, left them there once and for all; Yes He Did!
Heb 10:10-12-12 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ "once and for all." And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifice's, which can never take away sins: But this man (Jesus) after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand side of God.
That means for "All Sin and for All time". Oh YES it does...!! I told you, I have "GOOD NEWS" for you! You can live a life of forgiveness. Free of hurt, pain, and bondage's; tell the devil:
" The Shackles are coming off"
I do not believe that forgiveness means that you always have to continue in a relationship with the person or persons involved. That will be God's call. You don't have to invite them to lunch or to a movie, you may not even have to face them again. But, remember that the Father knows our hearts, so we must be sure that our heart is pure. Sometimes we may have to face the person we have wronged or that has wronged us, it is a very humbling experience, but it will free you, strengthen you and, it could also free the other person. If you have wronged or offended someone, and you go to them and ask for forgiveness with a pure heart, they only have two options:
1) they can accept your forgiveness or
2) they can reject it. It ends there! Your part is done! If the Lord wants to renew your friendship or build a relationship with that individual, then He will process you through that. In the mean time you know you have been obedient, you have asked the Lord to forgive, you have asked the offender or the offended for forgiveness, and the Lord is well pleased with your obedience.
Now you can continue on your walk in God knowing that you hold no un-forgiveness against anyone. Remember, if they reject you, they rejected Jesus first, and if they don't accept your forgiveness, or they don't ask you for forgiveness the Word says:
Eph 6:15 tells us:
"Shake the dust off those feet of yours that are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace and leave that place!"
Just head on down the path He has chosen for you.
"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Ps 119-105
Do this all in His Name and in LOVE! All the time remembering: "You have done the right thing according to God's will and according to the Word of God." Pray that the Lord will help the un-forgiving person to understand how that by them rejecting the forgiveness, it can effect their life with the Father. Then the Lord will deal with them about the situation. But you are clear between you, them and your Father.
I believe most people really want to forgive but Pride, stands in the way, so we can pray that the pride be removed from them or ourselves, that we are free to approach one another in Love.
Remember: "Pride, before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall".
I know this for a fact, I was full of the wrong pride! It will hold you back.
Prayer: Lord Jesus I come to you with love in my heart, I want to walk this walk with you in perfect obedience. Help me Lord Jesus to be quick to forgive everyone anything! That does not mean that I have to agree with what they did or said, but I need to not hold anything against anyone, that is what your Word says, and I want to be obedient to your Word. So help me Father, help me to forgive quickly. Let me be pleasing to you, let my light so shine and let me be that salt and city that sits on a hill that cannot be hidden. Let me Glorify you in all that I do. Thank you for forgiving me continually, and thank you for showing me how to forgive everything! In Jesus Name Amen!
